GAM
365:
Advanced Game Design
In this studio course, students work individually to design and develop small-scale narrative game experiences. For this course, "narrative" is experienced through the different components of the game, including storytelling, interactions, movement, and visual design. The focus of this course is on expressive, communicative story experiences rather than systems-design. Through several short development sprints, students will design small games that explore experiential and emotional design in games, understanding games as an expressive medium.
(GAM 340 and GAM 341) or GAM 355 is a prerequisite for this class.
