Game, Cinema, and Animation Summer Academy

This is an intensive week-long program for high school students interested in the film, television, or game industries. Participants receive hands-on instruction using the latest equipment and technology and are taught by full-time DePaul faculty with real-world experience.

Introduction to Engineering

Full-time faculty in our School of Computing will introduce students to engineering design principles as applied to intelligent systems. Students will explore embedded systems through interaction with sensors and motors, consider prototype design with laser cutters and 3D printers, and program a robot to navigate an obstacle course.

ESports Summer Program

Students entering 10th, 11th and 12th grade will learn from gaming professors, high school teachers, collegiate gamers, and computing industry professionals in order to develop valuable skills for gaming as well as academic studies and professional careers in computing.

The Summer CHA Programs

Three six-week intensive programs in filmmaking, screenwriting, and photography are designed for Chicago Housing Authority teens. CDM graduate students have the opportunity to teach and learn as student mentors for the programs.

AI Summer Camp

Students entering 11th and 12th grade will learn about the fast-growing field of AI under the mentorship of DePaul's brightest students and faculty mentors! Students will work with DePaul's Innovation Development Lab to create an AI-powered solution for real world problem presented by Abbott Laboratories.
