Post Production Capstone
This course provides students with a post-production capstone experience centered on preparing students to enter the film and television industry. With advice and review from industry professionals, students will create the following assets: a website focusing on their specialty, a reel of representative work, a resume, and a sample cover letter. By drawing on concepts from their major and liberal studies coursework, students will also research industry standards and practices and present their findings with a white paper and presentation. Students will work in groups to create short videos reflecting on their undergraduate experience and discussing how those experiences will inform their future work. This course is designed for students in the following BFA Film and Television Concentrations: Editing, Sound, Visual Effects, and the BS in IT Media Engineering Concentration.
POST 329 or POST 384 or VFX 378 are prerequisites for this class.
