SCWR 480: Digital Comedy Content Creation

This course introduces students to the fundamentals of creator-driven comedy production, focusing on the creation of short-form comedic content for digital platforms. Through hands-on exercises in brainstorming, storytelling, filming, and editing, students will develop their distinct comedic voice using accessible tools such as smartphones and consumer-grade cameras. Emphasizing low-budget, flexible filmmaking techniques, the course equips students to produce engaging, high-quality content independently. With a focus on rapid experimentation and iteration, students will create multiple projects, building confidence and honing their comedic skills.
