Bio and Research Information

Devin Bell's passion is visual storytelling, humor and character animation. His award-winning short films have been in hundreds of shows and festivals globally. He attended Skidmore College in New York, where he majored in intaglio printmaking and sculpture, and also discovered a love for stop-motion animation. He earned his MFA in animation at California Institute of the Arts. After seven years in Los Angeles, three of which were spent at JibJab Media directing short films and internet spots, Devin is now teaching full-time. He continues his personal projects in filmmaking, writing and illustrating.
