Research Area

Computer Science Education, Information Systems, Information Technology Management

Specific Research Area

Throughout my career, I continue to promote the integration of technology into educational research, teaching, and approach to the profession. I have a deep understanding of the TPACK framework, which emphasizes the intersection of technology, pedagogy, and content knowledge. I have used this framework to guide my work and research to develop curriculum and resources that are engaging, relevant, and effective for students of all ages, as well as for educators. In addition to current gaps, there are key opportunities to understand the technology accelerators of pedagogical change, how AI-informed and “intelligent” data can inform classroom practices, and the departure of educators in the remote and hybrid education space.
