Oliver Alonzo

Bio and Research Information

Oliver Alonzo obtained his Ph.D. in Computing and Information Sciences from the Golisano College of Computing and Information Sciences at the Rochester Institute of Technology. He has a B.S. in Computer Science from Creighton University, where he also minored in Graphic Design and Musical Theatre. Before joining DePaul University, he was a post-doctoral assistant professor at Creighton University. During his Ph.D., he also worked as an intern at Meta (Facebook) and Adobe Research as a UX Researcher and Research Scientist, respectively. His research areas include human-computer interaction and computing accessibility, broadly exploring how to increase access to digital information for people with disabilities.
