Bio and Research Information

Eric Fredericks holds both a B.S. (Hartwick College) and an M.S. (DePaul University) in computer science. His career in software engineering began at Motorola in the late 1990s developing 5-Nines highly available, high quality software in the telecommunications industry. His formative experience as a software engineer was in Chicago's fast-paced, real-time financial trading environment. He has over 25 years of experience in creating software systems in diverse business domains, including telecommunications, financial services, homeland security, education, location services, and healthcare. He enjoys working with languages, and specializes in the Java and Scala technology stacks.
