After graduating from the Newhouse School at Syracuse University with a B.S. in Television, Radio, and Film, Ted moved to Los Angeles to work in TV/Film. He was a Production Assistant, Personal Assistant, Showrunners’ Assistant, Writers’ Assistant, and Script Coordinator during his eight years in Hollywood. He worked mostly in television, including for Jerry Bruckheimer Television, and on the shows CSI: Miami, Arrested Development, How to Rock, and Switched at Birth, before working as an assistant in the writers’ department of the shows The Lottery, Wicked City, Queen Sugar, and Genius: Einstein. He left Los Angeles to complete an MFA in Creative Writing – Fiction at Columbia College Chicago, and now is an Adjunct Professor at DePaul University in WRD and Screenwriting.
