Bio and Research Information

Trynn, by day, works full-time as a music project manager/producer at Riot Games in Los Angeles. By night, Trynn goes back to her university roots teaching as an adjunct professor at DePaul and Loyola in Chicago. She is a systems design extraordinaire who explores topics across psychology, production, and game design. Throughout her career, Trynn has worked across a myriad of disciplines ranging from finance to games, and most currently, to music. A highlight of Trynn's career is her work as an entrepreneur, working as an independent game designer, and starting her company Intrynnsic Entertainment. Her experience is not limited to indie, having worked in & with companies both big and small, established & up-in-coming. Trynn is a design consultant and certified project manager (PMP) with special experience in building out project management offices (PMOs) for various teams (creative and technical). In terms of education, Trynn completed both her B.S Development & MFA in Game Design at DePaul. Here, she explored how intimacy & play are deeply connected -- resulting in a developed design process for intimate design across media. Many of her personal projects are novelty experiences that have been displayed at international conferences. That said, Trynn has spoken and showcased her games in several festivals nationwide including but not limited to IndieCade, the Experimental Gameplay Workshop @ GDC, and the Serious Games Showcase & Challenge.
