Research Labs

CDM is host to a number of specialized labs designated to specific research areas. These labs are equipped with advanced technology, software, and experimental tools to support faculty and students in their research endeavors. Students can contact the directors of their lab for more information and research/collaboration opportunities.

Undergraduate Research

CDM provides valuable learning opportunities and financial support for undergraduate students through programs like the Undergraduate Research Assistant Program (URAP) and Motorola Solutions Foundation Scholars Program, which makes a deep investment in a diverse data science workforce by immersing underrepresented students in a rigorous research program.

Graduate Research Assistant Program

The graduate research assistant program offers valuable learning opportunities and financial support to graduate students to assist and collaborate with faculty members in their research and creative work. This program is intended to provide students meaningful research experience assisting faculty on a research project or creative activity that is related to the students’ academic studies/pursuits.

Graduate Funding

A limited number of funding opportunities are available for qualified MA, MS, MFA, and PhD students. These include graduate assistantships, grants, and stipends.
