DePaul Originals Game Studio

DePaul Originals Game Studio, directed by faculty Allen Turner and Will Meyers, moved into the new space as its first initiative. The studio, originally established in 2018, simulates a professional video game studio, with students from all of the CDM schools collaborating on the development of a single game across academic quarters until it’s polished enough for public release.

PUSH Studio

PUSH Studio, an interdisciplinary studio led by faculty LeAnne Wagner, uses human-centered design methods to solve real-world problems. Students and faculty partner with industry clients to drive new solutions using artificial intelligence, virtual reality, augmented reality and voice user interfaces. 

XR Studio

The XR Studio is a technology sandbox, a place where emerging tools stop being theoretical and become something you can pick up and play with. Students work hands-on with virtual and augmented reality, motion capture, real-time game engines, and immersive media production - the same tools reshaping research labs, film sets, and museums right now.

Whether you've been building in Unreal since high school or have never put on a headset, the equipment is accessible, and the support is here to get you started. Students throughout the three schools of CDM all share the room, and that overlap is the point. The best work tends to happen when worlds collide.
