SERIOUS GAMES
Conservation & Restoration Interest through Game
Faculty Richard Wetzel and PhD student Sara Bayat Hashemi are working on an interdisciplinary project in partnership with the Environmental Studies program in the College of Science and Health and DePaul’s Egan Office for Urban Education and Community Partnerships. The project investigates how 360° video and a virtual reality serious game can increase interest in conservation and restoration activities in K-12 school children.

DePaul University, Aon and NFP launch national research initiative
DePaul University's SPARK Center, led by SoD faculty LeAnne Wagner, has launched a new research collaboration with leading global professional services firm Aon plc (NYSE: AON) and NFP, an Aon company. The initiative, Beyond the Loan: Community Banks, Small Business Owners and Human Resilience examines how community banks can better support entrepreneurs, particularly those leading underserved and women-owned businesses.
