The Introduction to Engineering Camp is not slated to run in 2025.

The Introduction to Engineering Camp will introduce high school students to engineering design principles as applied to intelligent systems.

Taught by full time faculty in our School of Computing, students will learn foundational skills in intelligent systems engineering and apply those skills with hands-on activities in CDM's new CyberLabs. Participants will explore embedded systems through interaction with sensors and motors, consider prototype design with laser cutters and 3D printers, and use robot programming to make an mBot navigate an obstacle course and reach a target.

Certificates awarded upon completion. Lunch provided daily.

Students who are considering the Intro to Engineering Camp may be interested in learning more about our bachelor’s programs in Intelligent Systems Engineering or Robotics.
