Christina Singer is an Assistant Professor of Graphic Design at UNC Charlotte, where she has been teaching since 2018. With a passion for both design education and practice, Christina also runs her own design business, Ody Design, LLC. Her work bridges the academic and professional worlds, offering a unique blend of creative expertise and real-world application in the field of graphic design.

Christina will discuss her design practice and research, which centers on equitable design research methods, illuminating queerness through visual design, human rights, investigating non-Western design and typography, and analyzing her pedagogical practice.
