Ben Zlotucha is an award-winning writer and director with a wide spectrum of experience in film, television, commercials and documentaries.
After earning a BFA in film from Emerson College in Boston, Ben moved to Los Angeles and worked at Carsey-Werner, the independent studio behind The Cosby Show, Roseanne and That 70’s Show. He became a producer at only 25 years old, working on over a dozen multi-camera and single-camera comedies for FOX, NBC, CBS, ABC, HBO and Showtime.
In 2006, Ben wrote and directed A Little Light, a short film that won several film festivals and garnered him commercial directing representation. Ben wrote and directed successful ad campaigns for brands like Jeep, Toyota, Google, Verizon and Target. His 2009 Microsoft short Bring the Love Back won a Cannes Lion and his ground breaking eight episode web series Escape My Life was named to Paste Magazines’s top ten list in 2012.
Ben currently consults on TV, film and ad campaigns around the world, and in his spare time he produces, writes, directs, shoots, edits and stars in a series of subversive product reviews on his YouTube channel.
He lives in Oak Park with his wife and two kids.
