Bio and Research Information

Taylor is a partner at Rosen Law Group, where she primarily represents writers, producers, directors, production companies and financiers in the film, television, podcast and new media industries. Taylor has represented dozens of authors when optioning their books, articles and other works to studios. Taylor has served as financing legal and production legal, as well as provided legal clearance services, on both scripted and non-scripted projects, including "Bill & Ted Face the Music," "Horse Girl," "Boy Kills World," the Netflix documentary "Bob Ross: Happy Accidents, Betrayal and Greed," "Concrete Cowboy," "Archenemy," the HBO docu-series "The Lady and the Dale," "Color Out of Space," and the Hulu docu-series "Sasquatch." Prior to joining Rosen Law Group, Taylor externed at two boutique law firms, one that specialized in motion picture production law and the other in music law. In addition, Taylor externed at Escape Artists Productions, an independently financed motion picture company, as well as Fox Sports Music. Taylor received her J.D. from Southwestern Law School with an Entertainment and Media Law Concentration with Honors and her B.A. in Advertising from Texas Tech University. During law school, Taylor was a member of the Southwestern Law School Entertainment & the Arts Legal Clinic where she provided pro-bono legal and business affairs services for entertainment clients. In addition, Taylor was a Notes and Comments Editor for the Southwestern Law Review, in which her article advocating for songwriters' rights in connection with political rallies was published. Taylor is a member of the California State Bar.
