Sajad Amini

Bio and Research Information

Sajad Amini is an Iranian artist/graphic designer based in Chicago, US. He received his BA in cinematography and photography from Sooreh Art University, Tehran. He studied MFA in Visual Studies at the Pacific Northwest College of Art and received his MFA in Studio Practice from the University of Oregon. His artworks depict his deep personal life experience back in his home country and living in the US. Text and language constitute the foundation of Sajad's work. His artworks have been exhibited in several national and international art shows and residencies. Sajad Amini has served as an Assistant Professor at Georgia State University and Graduate Assistant Instructor at the University of Oregon.
