Ryan Haley

Bio and Research Information

Ryan's previous roles, included adversary simulation, mimicking real world threats in order to test defense and response capabilities and Network Security Engineering specializing in Network and Enterprise Security Solutions across various industries, including Government, Petroleum, and Retail. He has a strong background in network security and advanced offensive and defense techniques. In addition to teaching, Ryan is an active mentor and coach in DePaul's cybersecurity club the Security Daemons with a focus on various competitions such as NCDC, CPTC, and CCDC. Ryan graduated from DePaul with a M.S. in Computer, Information, and Network Security with minors in Computer Science, Finance, and Network Engineering. He holds several certifications, including Pentest+, CCNP R&S, OSCP, and CISSP.
