In addition to his role as an educator at DePaul, Juan serves as a Senior Security Researcher at Arete. He diligently pursues the identification of malware families, campaigns, and actors. Juan employs reverse engineering techniques to dissect required samples, unraveling their functionality, and whenever possible, attribution. Specializing in Windows binaries, he aspires to refine his skills as a reverse engineer further. Currently, his research endeavors extend to mastering the intricacies of the Android OS and OSX Mach-O binaries.
