Eric Marsh is an independent filmmaker and educator from Chicago, IL, with a BA ('07) and MFA ('16) in film production from DePaul University. He has worked as a director and editor on music videos, shorts, documentaries, video essays, and feature films.
Orders (2017), a feature film co-directed with DePaul University faculty member Andrew Stasiulis, made its world premiere in at the Kaunas Film Festival in Lithuania, followed by theatrical (Spectacle Theater, NYC) and online (NoBudge) runs in 2018. The film was written up in MUBI, Screenslate, The Village Voice.
As an editor Eric has collaborated with Oakland-based filmmaker Ryland Walker Knight (I Wish You Would!, 2019) as well as award-winning Chicago filmmaker Michael Glover Smith on his two most recent feature films: Rendezvous in Chicago (2018) and Relative (2022), which were both picked up for distribution. He is currently collaborating with actor/director Allison Torem on a trilogy of pandemic-related short films.
