Online Learning

Online classes are an excellent option for students who want a flexible schedule or do not live in the Chicagoland area. Course materials can be accessed through the Web 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The Jarvis College of Computing and Digital Media's (CDM) online students complete the same weekly assignments and projects as on-campus students.

Benefits of our Online Offerings

  • Extraordinary faculty: classes are taught by the same faculty who teach on campus.
  • Flexible access: students have online access to the program’s lectures: everything in the classroom from audio and video to whiteboard notes and the professor’s supplemental materials.
  • Same high quality experience: CDM does not differentiate between an online and on-campus student.

We have extraordinary faculty from all over the world. Our faculty bring to the classroom a unique blend of academic excellence and industry perspective.

Viewing Lectures

Lectures can be streamed or downloaded for offline viewing. CDM's Course Online System (COL) records lectures and posts them online within two hours of the class session.

Exam Proctoring

Exams taken in online courses are monitored by a proctor. Having exams proctored ensures the integrity of our programs is upheld.

Trimodal Flex Classes
The Trimodal Flex modality offers students even more flexibility and options to attend class meetings.
